Global Growers Network is seeking $1.5 million in philanthropic support for the purchase of our new flagship farm. Located on 23 acres of prime farmland in Rockdale County, the new farm will be home to 15 distinct farm businesses and will serve as a local model for cooperative farming and ecological land management.

Following a thoughtful and thorough land search, GGN found our dream farm: a beautiful 23-acre property in Rockdale County. Through an innovative partnership with The Conservation Fund’s Working Farms Fund, GGN entered a lease-to-own agreement in 2021 and will own the land outright in three years.

Global Growers Network acknowledges the Muscogee (Creek) Nation as the original and rightful custodians of the land our new farm is located on.

Our new farm will:

• Establish a cooperative system that will reduce costs for talented farmers who face barriers to accessing land and capital

• Preserve and share the multicultural traditions and foodways of our diverse grower network and metro Atlanta community

• Support growers in producing fresh food for local consumption and developing new markets for their farm products

• Create a vibrant and inclusive agritourism destination and community gathering space that celebrates local agriculture and global food cultures.

Your support enables us to:

Purchase farmland

to offer quality land for growers who face barriers to access.

Build infrastructure

to move growers’ produce from field to table, and to launch social enterprises that will sustain farm operations.

Scale programs

to support growers’ production and sales goals.

Crop Circle

Join our community of $5,000+ supporters making a deep investment in the farm. Crop Circle members will be named on our barn wall and enjoy invitations to special events.

Make a gift with lasting impact: view our Naming Opportunities to explore the various farm initiatives where your support is especially needed:

  • The reason Global Growers’ farm exists is to offer quality farmland and shared infrastructure for growers who face barriers to accessing land, agriculture resources and marketplaces. The farm will also benefit the broader community as a source of organically grown produce and a space to celebrate diverse food and farming traditions from around the world.

  • Gifts to the Higher Ground Campaign enable Global Growers to build infrastructure for cooperative farming (wash and pack station, greenhouse, compost center, tools); design programs that support growers to produce and distribute organic-certified fruits and vegetables; develop social enterprises to sustain farm operations (you-pick orchards, rental facilities); and fully purchase the land so that it can serve as a permanent home for growers.

  • Anyone who makes a gift of $5,000 of more automatically becomes a member of the Crop Circle: a community investing deeply in the Global Growers farm. Crop Circle members will be named and recognized on our barn wall, and will be invited to special events like the farm opening. Gifts can be made online on this webpage or via check mailed to Global Growers Network, 500 S. Columbia Drive, Decatur GA 30030. Questions? Email development@globalgrowers.org.
