Let's Toast to the Culture in Agriculture!
Join GLOBAL GROWERS for the 6th annual Toast to the Culture in Agriculture on May 21th, 2017 from 3pm until 5pm at our idyllic 15-acre Bamboo Creek Farm in Stone Mountain.
This event will showcase spring flavors from around the globe, local craft beer, local craft Kombucha, live music, farm tours, kids activities, and much more. Come dressed in farm-casual attire and bring your family and friends as this is an event for all ages with plenty to eat. Our suggested donation is $50 per person, but all donations are accepted for this special Pay-What-You-Can fundraiser.
Add a basket of fresh vegetables to your ticket registration for $25. These tasty veggies all come from our Bamboo Creek Farm. This is your opportunity to directly support the farmers that are preparing the delicious meals for you.
Rain or Shine!
We like to be outdoors rain or shine. It currently looks like there is a high chance that we will be experiencing some rain. This is your chance to wear your cute rain boots and rain coats. We will have a few tents set-up for shelter, but it is an outdoor event. Umbrellas are welcome because you do not want to miss out on our farm tours.

It is going to be a terrific afternoon of celebration, unique flavors, local craft brews, and a relaxed outdoor ambiance.
Farm families from Bamboo Creek Farm and Umurima, the Burundi Women’s Farm, will prepare traditional South Asian and East African foods, featuring global springtime flavors. Join us and dine on some delicious Joi Choi, Toute, Khao Suey, Mandazi, and Leren Choy.
Natalie Keng is a food and culture expert born and raised in Atlanta and a supporter of our Farm Share program. She is the founder of Chinese Southern Belle, a line of family recipe cooking sauces and condiments. She will join us at the event with her Farm to Wok experience in which she will cook up spring vegetables using her award winning sauces.
Every week Global Growers Farm Share Member and Chef, Mathew Green, cooks up creative recipes utilizing the ingredients he receives in his weekly Farm Share to share on our website. Don't miss out on his one of a kind culinary creations.
What's local food without local craft brews? Expect to taste brews from Three Taverns Craft Brewery and Wild Heaven Beer, as well as a summer punch made with Global Growers strawberries and Kombucha from Lupa's Kitchen. We can not wait for it to be Sunday!
