Farm Share Member Guidelines and Terms

Membership Account: 

When you sign up for a membership, a secure, online member profile is created for you with your share options, your pick-up location, and your account activity.  You can use this account to make adjustments to your membership, such as pick-up location and payment information.

Payments:

We accept check by mail, electronic check, credit or debit card.  Members will receive an e-mail confirmation of your membership and payment.  We do not store any of your personal or financial information on our website.  Your payment is processed by Farmigo and Authorize.net.  Local sales tax applied at checkout.  

Discounts:

5% Discount: available to full-season members who sign-up and pay for the complete Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons.

10% Discount: available for members who commit to volunteer at least 10 hours on the farm during the season.  Use code: volunteer2016 

50% Discount: available to members to will pay with EBT/SNAP benefits (Select the pay by check options and send us an e-mail so we know to process your payment offline. This discount is made possible by our partnership with Wholesome Wave Georgia.)

100% Discount: available to volunteer site hosts who help start a new site with at least 20 members

Bring a Bag:

Bring a bag along when you pick up your CSA share.  Unless you are a juggler and want to show off your skills, which we also encourage.

Adding Extra Items:

Online store inventory will be available for individual purchases, which can then be added to your CSA pickup.  These items must be ordered 72 hours ahead of your scheduled pickup time.

Communications:

Global Growers sends a weekly CSA newsletter to all members, which includes a list of weekly share items, recipes and cooking tips, and information about what’s happening on our farms.  Members can add multiple email addresses to their accounts so multiple people can receive communications.  As a member, you are agreeing to receive and read these weekly communications.  We will use e-mail to notify members of any changes at least 24 hours in advance.  If there is a change with less than 24 hours notice, we will send an email and follow up with a phone call/message. 

Changing or Missing Your Pick Up:

If you are not able to pick-up your share you have a few options! 

1. We encourage you to send a guest to pick-up in your place.  CSA shares make a great gift!  

2. Another option is to switch temporarily to a different pick up site/day for that week. We request at least 72 hours notice for a schedule change.  We are not able to accommodate after-hours pick-ups, nor do we offer delivery suspensions or vacation holds. Please email market@globalgrowers.org to notify us of any schedule change request. 

3.If you are running late to grab your share and are not able to get in contact with the our market team before the end of your schedule pick up time, please email market@globalgrowers.org to set up a time to pick up your share from our farm just East of Atlanta. 

 

Refunds:

Membership is a commitment to our farmers for the full growing season.  Farmers plan months in advance to grow your food and cannot easily make quick adjustments midseason.  For this reason, we generally do not offer refunds.  However, we will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis for the following reasons: unexpected relocation, major loss of household income, serious illness, and unresolved customer service issues.  We will charge a $30 administrative fee for cancellations and processing refunds.

Privacy Policy:

We do not sell, rent or give away our email list, customer list, or any personal/financial information.

Our Guarantee:

Global Growers guarantees our produce for quality and freshness, and we pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service. If for any reason, you are not happy, please contact us at (404) 254-6175 or market@globalgrowers.org. All vegetables are grown locally and organically by Global Growers farmers who have participated in hands-on training in sustainable agriculture and food safety. We do not use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.  We offer a weekly partner product sourced from other local producers to provide you with a whole pantry of goods, such as honey, fruits, eggs, cheeses, and grains.
