Join Global Growers for the 5th annual Toast to the Culture in Agriculture on November 20th, 2016 at the Bamboo Creek Farm. We invite you to join us in celebrating the vibrant and diverse food and agriculture traditions of Global Growers farmers.
Global Growers farmers come from countries such as Burma, Malaysia, Nepal, Bhutan and Burundi, and will prepare East African and South Asian dishes highlighting the heritage and cuisine from their home countries with farm fresh ingredients. The partner farmers along with their families will be joined by Souper Jenny and Candler Park Market, who each will also prepare food tastings featuring local and international flavors of the American South. In addition to the food tastings, we'll serve beer and cider around the bonfire and offer farm tours.
The event is a Pay What You Can fundraiser for Global Growers, and the suggested donation is $40-50 per person (or $20 for children under 12).
Proceeds from the event will be support Global Growers and the continued effort to connect new American families to land, education, and markets within the Atlanta area. We are thrilled to welcome you and guests to join us at Bamboo Creek Farm to make a toast to the new food and agriculture traditions that we are creating together here in Georgia.
